My Journey into Writing
I’m Saul Sandoval, a South Texas native from the vibrant Rio Grande Valley. My high school dreams of filmmaking led me to study Film at the University of North Texas Denton. As I ventured into this world, my passion for screenwriting blossomed. Life took a turn, bringing me back to care for my family in my beloved homeland, in the midst of completing my English Bachelors degree.
Diversity Through Mystery
With an unwavering love for writing, I pursued my Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing. As an LGBTQ author, I’m deeply committed to illustrating realistic representations and celebrating the variety of life in the Rio Grande Valley. Weaving elements of mystery into my science fiction narratives, I strive to create refreshing contemporary fiction that appeals to all readers.
Current Literary Endeavors
Currently, I’m pouring heart and soul into my debut novel – an anticipated addition to the world of mystery fiction. When I’m not engrossed in writing, I enjoy the serene company of my partner Matt and our feline friend, Manitas, in Roma, Texas. I eagerly invite you to join me on this colorful literary journey and experience the richness of my narratives.
